HOW TO REGISTER

New Edinburgh, Old Ottawa South, Barrhaven, Westboro

(See below for Bells Corners)

STEP 1 - Provide your registration information:

- Term 3 (February 9 to April 16): Mid-term registrations for term 3 will continue to be accepted for those classes that still have space available.

- Term 4 (April 19 to June 25): Participants in term 3 who wish to register for term 4 will have a short priority registration period from February 22 until March 5. However, waiting lists are being accepted now for any spots that are not filled by returning participants. After March 5, registration will continue on a first come, first served basis.

- By phone: 613-806-7464

- By e-mail: Download and complete the registration form and e-mail it to nicole@makingmusicmeaningful.com.

STEP 2 - Provide payment:

- Term 3 (February 9 to April 16): If you are joining a term 2 class that is already in progress, please bring the pro-rated program fee to your first class, as arranged when you called or e-mailed to register.

- Term 4 (April 19 to June 25): After you have received confirmation that there is room in the class of your choice, your spot will be held for 2 weeks pending receipt of your program fee. Any registrations that are not confirmed with payment within 2 weeks will be released if there is a waiting list. Payment is accepted by cheque made payable to Nicole Wassink and mailed to:

Making Music Meaningful

36 rue Marie-Louise-Coulombe

Gatineau, QC   J8Z 3N6

STEP 3 - Confirmation:

- Receipt of mailed and e-mailed registration forms and fees will be confirmed by e-mail.

- About a week before your first class, you will receive an e-mail with some additional information about the program and about how you can get the most out of it. Any classes that do not have at least five registrants by one week before the start of the term are subject to cancellation and a full refund will be issued.

- If you don't hear back within two or three days of having e-mailed me, please call 613-806-7464 (rather than e-mail) to follow up. Similarly, if you don't hear back within two or three days of having left a voice mail, please e-mail (rather than leaving another voice mail) to follow up. Technology is wonderful but not perfect!

- Receipts are available upon request.

Please note that Making Music Meaningful will cease operating at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre as of March 2010. As of April, Monday classes will be held in Kanata and operated directly by Making Music Meaningful rather than through the City of Ottawa.

Making Music Meaningful is offering classes at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre in Bells Corners through the City of Ottawa. You may register by one of three methods using the activity codes below. Once a session is under way, you may not be able to register on-line but you will still be able to register by phone or in person.

- By phone: Call the Nepean Creative Arts Centre at 613-596-5783.

- In person: Visit one of the City of Ottawa's seven Client Service Centres.

- On-line: Use the City of Ottawa's on-line registration system. You can also go to ottawa.ca and, in the yellow Popular Topics section on the left, choose Parks & Recreation. Next, choose, 1-2-3 Go Register at the bottom right.

Winter: Monday, January 11 to Monday, March 8, 2010 (no classes February 15)

Registration starts August 13 and will be on-going for the duration of the term, space permitting.
